Update on Preorders 3/9/2020

Firstly, thank you so much for your patience! We understand you are eager to receive your Foggōz and we want you to know we are doing everything in our power to get your order filled as soon as possible.

Some of you may know that the special silicone used in Foggōz is manufactured in Ireland. While our Irish partners make a wonderful product, they have had some delays in getting our order to us. We were initially told that our order would be ready two weeks ago, but since then, that timing has been pushed back multiple times.

It is our understanding that there have been supply-chain issues on their end that are in the process of being resolved. However, we haven’t been given much more information than that (frustratingly so!). 

We understand this is frustrating for you too and in the interest of transparency, we want you to know as much as we do about the reason for the delays as well as the timetable moving forward. 

As of this afternoon, we were told that our order is on its way to our manufacturing partner that is responsible for die-cutting the strips. We are hoping that means we are close to getting you a definitive date on when you can expect us to ship your order.

We are optimistic about filling our remaining preorders soon and the moment we have more information we will pass that on to you. That said, if for any reason you would like to cancel your order, please simply reply to this email and we will issue a refund right away. 

We do hope, however, that you’ll “stick” with us :) We’ve really done our research and we believe we have found the best product out there to create a fog-free seal for your mask—it is just taking a bit longer than expected to get back in stock. It isn’t easy being a small business in the big business pond, but we continue to plug along! In the meantime, it has been heartening to see the positive feedback we’ve gotten from customers whose preorders we’ve been able to fill, which you can see on our product page.

We know we are asking a lot of you to continue to wait. We are grateful for your confidence and promise that we are doing everything we can to get you your order as quickly as possible.
